Yuriy was a member of Russian Federation boxing team for three years. Has more than 70 amature fights. He is a champion and runner-up of the numerous Russian tournaments. He has a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and Associated degree in Physical Education. Yuriy has a big passion for boxing and other sports as well. His both children are athletes; his daughter Alisa is NCAA div 3 swimming champion in the 200 breastroke, and State champion in the 100 breastroke; his son Alex is NCAA swimming conference champion in the 100 free; sub-novice Lake Erie Golden Gloves Champion.
